At Christmas, we collected food donations at all of our branches for their local food banks. We decided to continue collecting donations each month because we believe every child has a right to a daily meal, and during these uncertain times, even more so.

So, as Easter approaches, we thought it would be an egg-cellent idea to add Easter Eggs too, as it’s a great way to spread a little more happiness. The team at Fire Glass Midlands have been busy collecting eggs which have now been taken to Smethwick Foodbank along with our monthly food bank donation.

Donations this month have included; squash, long-life fruit juice and milk, tinned fruit and vegetables, shampoo and conditioner, shower gel, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, cleaning products, disinfectants, and sanitary products, all of which the food bank was in desperate need of.

“Thanks again for supporting us. The kids will be over the moon with the easter eggs!”

It’s wonderful to have such great supportive teams behind us who help us to be able to continue our scheme and donate to our local food banks for the foreseeable future. Cracking results teams!
