WE ARE ... FOCUSSED ON CUSTOMER NEEDS LEGAL NOTICE Supply Only / Fire-Rated GlassFire rated glass forms only part of a fire resistant system. Any fire rated glass needs to be installed into a certified frame using an appropriately approved glazing system as per the relevant test evidence for the type of glass in question to ensure that the glass retains its fire resistance on installation. If the glass is to be installed within a fire door, then the fire door itself will also need to be certified. Whilst Fire Glass UK Limited can offer advice and assistance on our range of products and glass types, it is your own responsibility to ensure that any products meet your specific requirements including that the correct glass is used and fitted correctly and that the system as a whole satisfies relevant test evidence and current regulations. We offer a range of products, services and glass types - please contact us to discuss how we can help.InstallationsWe are a FIRAS approved installer for passive fire protection products and systems. FIRAS is a certification scheme (not an inspection scheme) which means that we are regularly (and randomly) inspected to verify that acceptable standards are being maintained and that our installation work is carried out in accordance with the product manufacturer’s instructions and the FIRAS scheme requirements. All contracts, on completion, shall be issued with a FIRAS Certificate of Conformity. The purpose of the Certificate of Conformity is to demonstrate that the installation complies with the relevant proven specification. The random inspection process does not assure that your contract or project will be inspected by specialist FIRAS inspectors. Should you wish your project to be specifically inspected then this can be provided for at an additional cost. We will arrange this as a supplemental agreement with FIRAS on your behalf. FIRAS will not issue a Certificate of Conformity at the request of a third party customer or client. Please contact us if this is something you would like to arrange.
