Fire Glass has a clear vision of the future, set out by our core values which we try to embed into our team to help provide the best service. Another main focus is selecting the right people for the right roles within the business.

Fire Glass UK has 52 new staff members who have permanently joined the company this year, covering all positions and branches. Seven of those being for our new West branch in Bristol. I’m sure as the branch grows, so will the team. Our continuous growth benefits the local communities attached to our branches in this uncertain climate.

From August 2021 to August 2022, the company has seen a 22.9% growth in employees, with a 3% increase in female workers since January.

Internally, we have seen eight job role changes, where our staff have been promoted or moved to positions more suitable to their skill set. At Fire Glass UK, we believe in giving the right people the opportunity to shine and progress, which is essential for both the individual and the company.

Jack Pickett, Deputy Branch Manager at Fire Glass Midlands, Geoff Clarkson, Sales Representative and Scott Knight, Deputy Branch Manager, both from Fire Glass South, have received their 10 Years Long Service Awards.

A further 13 employees have achieved their 5 Years Long Service Award.
