After a hugely successful 12 months, Fire Glass North invested in a new 18-tonne lorry. Their first large-scale delivery of 2023 started with 2 tonnes of fire-rated glass being delivered to a customer in Littleborough by Fermin Herrero, the branch’s newest HGV driver.

Brian Pearson, Transport Manager, said “This is where our performance fundamentals come in to help optimise our delivery strategies for 2023. The new lorry will allow the branch to be self-sufficient whilst allowing for more glass to be loaded and delivered in one journey”.
