Fire Glass Scotland launched a heartfelt Easter initiative aimed at bringing comfort and joy to children spending the holiday in hospital.
The Scotland branch has been collecting Easter eggs to donate to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People, with the goal of brightening what can be a difficult time for young patients and their families.
Organised as part of a seasonal giving effort, the campaign has already gathered strong momentum. At the time of writing, more than 70 Easter eggs have been collected, with donations continuing to come in. Michael Morton, branch manager, is pictured alongside the growing collection, which is set to be delivered to the hospital in the coming days.
The initiative reflects a simple but meaningful aim: to spread Easter cheer and bring smiles to children facing time in hospital over the holiday period. By providing small gifts, the team hopes to make a positive difference and offer a moment of happiness during what can often be a challenging experience.
Fire Glass Scotland has confirmed that this effort is not a one-off, but the beginning of an annual tradition. The company plans to continue supporting the hospital each Easter, reinforcing its commitment to the local community and to helping those who need it most.
As the collection continues to grow, the initiative stands as a reminder of the impact that community-driven acts of kindness can have – especially during the holidays.
