It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Colin Nichol, a valued and cherished member of our Fire Glass Scotland team.

Colin joined Fire Glass Scotland as an estimator in 2023 and quickly became a valued and respected member of the team. Bringing with him a wealth of experience and knowledge, he settled into his role with ease and became someone both colleagues and customers could rely on.

Colin was hard-working, conscientious and always willing to lend a hand. He was generous with his knowledge and experience, never hesitating to help a colleague or support a customer. His approachable nature, warmth and unique sense of humour made him a much-loved member of the Scotland team and a valued colleague across the wider business.

His loss will be deeply felt throughout the Scotland branch and across the company, as well as by the many customers and contacts he worked with daily. His contribution to Fire Glass will be remembered with great appreciation, and his absence will be felt for a long time to come.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his wife, Christine, and with his family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

Colin will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by us all.
