12th-18th June is Hard Hat Awareness Week – introduced to drive brain injury awareness through activities encouraging best practices around safety equipment.

At Fire Glass UK, our installations department adheres to the Construction Industry’s requirements for site work, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. In construction environments, hard hats are the recommended head protection due to the higher risk of falling objects, potential impact from machinery or tools, and other hazards that require robust protection.

Bump caps are used in and around the factories at all branches for their advantages in comfort, lightweight design, and protection against minor impacts due to the nature of the factory production. Protective headgear is essential for meeting legal obligations, prioritising employee safety, and reducing the severity of injuries.

Fire Glass UK prioritises the safety and well-being of our employees while maintaining a practical and efficient approach to head protection, ensuring a safer working environment. Our SHEQ department will be making sure all protective headgear is worn and up to standard.
